Free UTM builder

Build a UTM-tagged campaign link in seconds, so every visit from a post, an ad or a creator shows up under its own source in your analytics.

Your tagged link shows here.

What it does

A UTM builder adds tracking parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and optionally utm_term and utm_content) to a link, so analytics tools like Google Analytics and PostHog can tell which post, ad or partner sent each visit.

How to use it

  1. Paste the page you're linking toAny https link: your homepage, a landing page or a product page. Links that already have parameters keep them.
  2. Say where the link goesSource is the site or person (tiktok, newsletter, a creator's name), medium is the kind of traffic (social, email, cpc, affiliate) and campaign is what you're promoting.
  3. Copy the linkThe tagged link updates as you type. Copy it and use it in the post, ad or bio.

Questions

What are UTM parameters?

Five optional tags added to a link's query string: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content. Analytics tools read them to group visits by where they came from.

Which UTM parameters do I need?

Source, medium and campaign cover most links. Term is for paid search keywords and content tells apart two links in the same campaign, like two buttons or two ad versions.

Do UTM links hurt SEO?

No, when they're used for links you share elsewhere (posts, ads, emails). Don't put them on links between your own pages: that splits your own analytics.

Is anything I type sent to a server?

No. The link is built in your browser and nothing is stored.
