Snap's ad library is small and easy to miss. Here's what's in it and how to search it.
Snap's Ads Library (adsgallery.snap.com) lists ads shown in the European Union, searchable by the brand or the entity that paid, by country and date. Political ads are in a separate Political Ads Library. Ads that ran only outside the EU aren't listed.
Which ads are in the Snapchat Ad Library?
Commercial ads delivered in the EU, kept under the EU's Digital Services Act.
Ads that ran only in the US or elsewhere don't appear. Political ads in any country are in Snap's Political Ads Library, with spend.
How do I search it?
Pick an EU country, a date range, and search the brand or the paying entity.
- Open adsgallery.snap.comChoose a country in the EU.
- Search the brandType the brand's name. If nothing comes up, search the company that pays, often its legal name.
- Read the resultsEach ad shows its creative, the dates it ran and how many people it reached.
Which other libraries are EU only?
TikTok, Microsoft, X, Pinterest and Apple's libraries list EU ads only; Meta, Google and LinkedIn cover every country.
